Inspiration for my landscapes comes from many sources. They are not always a place you can find on a map, sometimes it is a portrayal of an image in my mind or a place I would like to be.

 

My aim is for my contemporary landscape paintings to create a calming sensation for others to enjoy. These pieces are often soft in colour and work particularly well in a bedroom setting.

 

Other landscapes are of real locations with a touch of creative license. On occasion, I have painted images from my brothers' photography portfolio.
